Another cheer up technique/let's get out of this house before we go bonkers/nana gave buds a gift card, let's go bonkers.

Toysrus is always a kid favorite. It's usually not too kind on the wallet but the amazing nana slipped buds a gift card in his christmas stocking so we had some fun.

Buds romped Around and touched almost every single thing he could reach. Until he saw the McQueen power wheels. He took off like a bat outta hell to get to that car. Its a pretty sweet ride except its only a one seated. I'd like him to eventually shop around for a 2 seater. Something he may accommodate guests with.

At one point he found some truck wagon that he took off the shelf and pushed through the aisle claiming HE WANTS IT.

He did not get it as we are in no need for a wagon. He did get 2 Thomas trains that were on sale and a giant set of matchbox cars. The cars work great on the little track set I found for him at goodwill. This certainly gave him some pep to his step.

Bob thought a little temporary tattoo would cheer up buds. It did. Sort of.

Buds cried like he was getting shots while Bob put it on. Now I know damn well those things don't hurt going on.

This kid.

It's pretty badass tho. Walking around with the dark side on your arm.

Buds has spent the last few days running a fever. This after giant glands (that's still a tad swollen but amazing in comparison) and a bizarre rash that came and went with no regard. Thankfully we had a gland follow up with the dr tonight. He really thinks, and I hope he's right, that this is just a virus on top another virus. So he's sick. His immune system blows. He goes to school and picks up something new. Yay.

Just to be safe he took some blood. That sucked. And he gave Danny a TB test. That sucked harder. Poor kid. He did score some killer stickers out of the ordeal though. Somehow I think buds thinks he got the short end of the stick.

We will have results either tomorrow or Monday. Never a dull moment.
